Using Makerspaces to Help Teach Empathy and Problem-Solving
Making is a hot topic in classrooms today as we work to transform our students from consumers to creators. What if we took it a step further and looked at making and makerspaces through the lens of empathy? How can we best design for others? How can we solve problems both local and global? How can we help others and make our world a better place? These questions and more come to the fore when we add empathy to our list of tools for making. Join Meredith Martin as she explores how you can incorporate empathy and design thinking to help make your students more compassionate learners and makers.
